Nike Dunk High Pro Sb "Tecate" Gold Black Colorway

Nike Dunk High Pro Sb "Tecate" Gold Black Colorway
For the second time in two months, here’s a new Nike SB Dunk High Quickstrike that features a large portion of Metallic Gold. These new Dunk High SB Pros pick up where Eric Koston’s ‘Thai Temple’ joints left off, opting for a more aggressive look thanks to red suede laid atop black leather. But it’s the side panels that’ll get most of the attention, both because of their shine, and a never before seen application of horizontal striping with vague overtures to the pink box era Avengers. Stick with Sneaker News for updates on this QS drop; they just hit European at Dunk-Shop Online.

Originally released in 1985, the Nike Dunk was introduced as a technical basketball sneaker.

They were designed with “paneling” and a lower profile enabling you to have more control during basketball moves. But, what really made the Nike Dunk was their variation of colors specifically designed to match college team uniforms. After a period of cease production on the Nike Dunk, they were re-released in 1998 and now have become an icon available in every colorway imaginable.
About Nike Dunks
Early years:
Originally released in 1985, the Nike Dunk was an alternative basketball sneaker that had lighter weight and provided comfort to enhance your game. The Dunk launched Nike’s “College Colors” program. This program signed selected universities to an exclusive Dunk sponsorship deal. The “College Colors” program was successful and universities like Michigan, St John’s, and Syracuse all wore two-tone Nike Dunks that mimicked their team colors.
The comeback:
After years of cease production of the Dunk model, Nike decided to re-release them in 1998. This decision has proven to be very successful. Nike first started with classic colors in both Dunk High and Dunk Low models. After these caught the eyes of a new generation Nike took it a step further. They commissioned popular street artists, designers, companies, and athletes to help collaborative with them on limited-edition models. This created a frenzy that has yet to cool off.
The collaborators have included Haze, Danny Supa, Supreme, Zoo York, Reese Forbes, and Staple.
Nike Dunk SB
To align with the resurgence of skateboarding in the early 2000’s Nike introduced the Dunk SB. The Dunk SB model features a “Zoom Air” insole and a extra padded tongue. These modifications provide added comfort/durability and were specifically designed for skateboarders.

Yet, since many of the SB models are limited they are also extremely popular among sneaker collectors. Dunk SB model releases have caused people to camp out for days, pay extreme prices, and use every “hook up” possible just to get a pair.

Nike Zoom Kobe V “Lower Merion ACES” – Home PE

With the school’s away version having already hit the market earlier this year, Nike is preparing to release the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Lower Merion ACES” in the home colors of Kobe Bryant’s former high school basketball team. Using the same color blocking as the Nike Zoom Kobe V “RICE” we showed you yesterday, the sneakers consists of a White base with minimal accents of Team Red and Silver divided between the Swoosh, outsole and Kobe’s branding on the tongue and heel. The team’s ace of spade logo appears along the heel tab.
No exact release date can be confirmed at this time, but we’ve been told that they’ll be releasing this month through House of Hoops. You may wanna watch for them to drop this coming weekend when the RICE Zoom Kobe V release. More detailed photos of the sneakers follow after the jump, thanks to Kix-Files.
Nike Dunk Hi SB Premium “Iron Man”

The other day we previewed the upcoming Marvel x Diesel “Iron Man” Cologne. Here is now a look at the comic inspired Dunk Hi from Nike SB Dunks. Nike Air Force 1 Low – Gorge Green – White & Green Nike Shoes

Packs of sneakers carrying similar themes and/or colorways are usually released on the same day, or at least around the same time. But with the motif common to this new Nike Air Force 1 Low and two others, Nike Sportswear has stretched the drops over nearly half a year. Starting back with a Team Red pair back in April, the patent toe/perfed side and rear combo popped up again in August, this time flipped, in black with red accents. This newest pair has a nearly-Gucci look to it, with white and red coming in on the midsole to contrast the tonal green uppers. Check out more shots after the jump, and look for these at NSW retailers like Extra Butter or get your pair on eBay.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low Olympic New Images

Although it isn’t an Olympic year, we’ve seen some Jordan releases with the five-rings colorway from the international sporting event. The Jordan Flight 9 dropped in a multi-colored rendition as did the Jordan Rare Air, and we can’t forget the Air Jordan VII Olympic Retro as well. Here’s another look at the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low in a black nubuck upper with a glossy faux-croc-skin swoosh and multi-colored contrast stitching. These are available over at Schuh-You, but you can pick up a fresh pair right now in men’s or GS sizes on eBay.
